Continental is testing a new system that allows passengers to have a boarding pass sent directly to their cell phone, eliminating the need for a printed version.

The one hiccup... is that travelers are required to have their cell phone pass through the X-Ray machine at security while at the same time, they're asked to show their boarding pass.

Sounds like its going to be fun...

Unless I am mistaken, the Japanese have been doing this sort of thing with movie admissions for at least five years. This is why my eyes roll upward whenever I hear an American talk about "innovation." Americans specialize in talking about innovation; other countries specialize in innovating!
