Good, this is how it should be. Shine a light on it, and if Bush and the telcos broke the law, they need to be held accountable. No one is above the law.

I say let him veto what he considers such an important piece of
legislation, then send the exact same bill back to him repeatedly
without a single change. If it's truly so important, he'll have to give
up someday. Since we all know it's NOT, Congress can game him
for the next few months until we get a real leader in the White
House instead of a lying, treasonous, chicken-dung terrorist. Then
the issue will be gone and we can start rebuilding from the mess
that fuhrer bushit will leave in his wake.

The funny thing is that this is all election year grandstanding. They'll pass the bill, and conference with the Senate, where immunity will be added BACK in because otherwise the bill will be vetoed.
