Why does everybody hate Vista?

I guess my experience with Vista is not as bad as most people's. I have been running Vista Business edition on a Lenovo N100 (that I bought for $700 in 2006) since it was released with no problems. All the drivers I needed were made available through Lenovocare. If anything, Vista is more stable than XP was on this machine. I did upgrade to an extra gb of RAM (now have 2 total) but the additional RAM was only about $30 through Newegg.

So if you are waiting to upgrade to Vista, just go buy a Lenovo 3000 N series. They're cheap and great quality machines for the money!

Same here - no problems with Vista

I'v been one of the early adopters in our Hi-Ed institution and I've been seeing only some quirks typical with any new OS, otherwise, Vista has been running just fine for me. In fact, this is the first OS that I decided to use every day as a regular non admin user ... I do have an admin account that I interact with via UAC though.
