I had this fantastic little standup act that would get both Democrats and Republicans laughing.


"... The problem with bush is that he does not read bad science fiction. Everyone knows that when you turn over your military to a person who's name rhymes with 'General Betray US' The army of 50 foot killer robots will soon be marching on Washington."

I can forgive a great many things. Spoiling a good joke is not one of them.

Patraeus deserved it

Military leaders have no business working as a political ***** for any president.

It is a line that has always been honored with few exceptions. The previous exceptions resulted in the general getting fired.

Bush was wrong to make him do it, Patraeus was wrong as well.
