Tivo transfers are spotty at best now as well. It can sometimes take
2 hours to transfer 30 minutes of programming that used to take 5
minutes before the update. . . if it ever happens at all. Programs
will stay on the pending list forever, or say that they have finished
and there's no program actually transferred.
*I don't work for them or any of their partners/subsudiaries. :-)
It enrages me how many hours I struggled trying get this to work again before I realized from the TiVo forums that there are ALOT of people with this problem and TiVo is just pretending everything is just fine.

- I have bee in contact with Tivo repeatedly. I have found the problem to be a new compression matrix that allows greater capacity than advertised. (My 11 hour tivo holds in excess of 24 half hour programs in the deleted folder). Tivo is not concerned with this problem. Straight from a level two tech I was told that the new compression was done to enhance all users and the archiving activities of a few users was a minor problem. They were not going to roll back the update just to satisfy a minority despite the fact they advertise the ability to burn to DVD on thier website.
