I wish Sony offered a stripped down PS3, you know why? Because you end up buying like 3 consoles in any generation regardless of which console you pick. I wonder how many people are on their 2nd Xbox360 by now? So they should buy a new console with a new drive? The author of this article is an a$$hat.

I agree/ disagree. I agree because the arcade edition of the Xbox 360 comes with a small memory card. If you plan on downloading game demos and movie trailers then i suggest that you hold off. I bought the Xbox Arcade last year for Christmas and it works just as fine as the pro that all my friends have. I had to buy a 60 GB HDD for my Xbox because I wanted to be able to download all the things that the pro and elite can do. I also bought some other accessories. I bought a wireless Xbox live adapter so I can play multiplayer. I am a HUGE call of duty freak. I also disagree because the arcade does all the stuff the Pro and Elite can do but it just doesn't come with the flash drive and it comes with a contoller with a cord. If you end up buying the Arcade, just buy a 60 GB HDD and you will be fine. I also disagree because you made it seem like the Arcade was the biggest piece of crap that was ever made. I works exactly the same just doesn't come with a HDD and a cordless contoller which i saw at target for only $20! I hope I answered the questions that any people had.

I have an arcade and it is is a good system option for alot of people take my situation for example, My girlfriend didnt have alot of money and wanted to buy me an xbox, my old Elite broke and MS wanted 150 to fix it so instead of fixing an old system with no warranty she bought me an Arcade for $200 and I tossed my 120gig HDD on it. New system New warranty all old saved stuff... Who the hell plays old Xbox games anyway?
