Okay, the performance sucked terribly, and she should have chosen another outfit, but I think that "flabby" is an inappropriate word. She's not as thin as she used to be (2 children later, mind you - you squeeze out a couple of watermelons and see if you ever get your 17 year old waist back), but she still looked pretty damn good. I personally wouldn't have worn that particular outfit, but calling her fat is only going to further push this whole "you're only pretty if you're skinny" BS that the media already pushes.

Basically, she's a singer, not a model, so I'm not too sure what her physical appearance has to do with anything.

If you're going to report "news" you have to do it objectively. Leave your opinions as to her weight to yourself and the blogs.

The insult was not "flabby" it was "pudgy."

Doesn't change it being mean for the sake of meanm just thought I'd correct before someone else did.

so her album has sold 480,000 copies in 4 weeks because of this. I heard from my friend that she often goes to naturistspace.org and dates a massage specialist. It is said she was attracted by the all kinds of services there at the beginning.

It is time, America, for you to face up to your addiction. This is a safe place, and we want you to be able to see this for what it is. What we mean is that you are hopelessly addicted to celebrity news. Oh gosh, especially that Britney Spears. Everyone has to be able to admit that it has been fascinating. She was the eminent pop princess for years. Then everyone watched, some in horror, some enjoying the fall of another teen star because it is just fun to do that sometimes, her fall from the heights to the depths, with arrests for traffic offenses, a high profile divorce and the custody battle. This year, she is the comeback kid. She has a new album out, she?s been hitting the charts, and in March 2009, she is going on her first world tour in years. She isn?t the first celebrity to stage a comeback, but it is always possible.
