- Axion Racing (HTTP://www.AxionRacing.com) also qualified for '07 and will be using the only vehicle to have participated in the two previous Grand Challenges. Spirit is powered by a Sony PS3 cluster and took off as the 3rd team during the last Challenge. Some find the Axion Racing Twins a little smart for DARPA's own good. The big sponsors (Intel, GM, Red Bull, Discovery Channel) control who gets the Challenge limelight. This team could easily win it all, now that the entire race will be in front of the general public.
