It's a stun gun on a robot. The military wants them, and probably so do a lot of 13-year-old boys.

There's a fun office toy; a roomba with a taser that launches from it. That could be an interesting guard dog for home security I guess.

Just don't let it do it on its own

I guess as long as it is remotely operated as basically seems to be the case most of the time with these new autonomous robots. But I'm not the beta tester so if it doesn't work trash them and wait until we become the robot and become impervious to such fragility.
I am also tired of the silly utopianism mindset that robots are going to just do things without us knowing about it. Sorry but not really possible in a virus hacker world.
