Secondly, as far as I know FUNAI is a Japanese company and their Blu Ray player will be $500 which is a far cry from the current $299 Toshiba AND only a mere $100 less than Sony and Panasonic players. IF I were in the market for Blu Ray, I would surely spend an extra $25-$100 for the Panasonic model over the Funai.
