(5 Comments)I had a Palm Zire 71 the battery went dead even before I had it a year, they replaced the battery...then less than a year later, it went dead again, and it was no longer in warinty..I was told it would cost me 129$
I asked em how much the batery was I was told they do not sell part s and I must send it in to them and pay them there 129$
I found that laptopsforless.com sold PDA batteries they had the zire 71 Bat. for 46$ plus the instructions and tool needed to open your Zire 71
But I found that my Zire71 ha d the battery soderd to the Motherboard so I could not replace it.
So I tosed my palm Zire and Got a Dell Pocket PC The Axim x50v
It has a easy to access battery pack "not all Pocket PC's do"
And Windows Mobile is 10X as good as the Palm OS will ever be.
