I don't know who came up with this brilliant idea, but the photos look ghastly. I don't even think Apple could make a wooden laptop look trendy.

Leather + Heat = Crash

Right now the current plastic cases pass heat pretty well. However the last time I checked, leather was pretty good at insulating heat. Also the last time I checked some laptops can keep your coffee warm all day.

I hope they have methods in place to displace the heat, or these fancy leather exteriors will ensure many laptops require replacement.
