- It looks interesting, but way too complicated and way too processor-intensive for my current computer. But I'd never even heard of it before this article. And its website is anemic.

I agree... EA is not doing a good job with the SC franchise. I'd like to see SC5, with the ability to zone but also the ability for developers to propose development, and a state or county government to build highways. (You get limited input to where it cuts through your town but you get input into the on-ramps and off-ramps.)
And a better job of loading and unloading user-supplied content.
My fear was that the next version was going to be a monthly subscription version. And it still could be. Unfortunately, I don't play enough to even consider something like that.
