The Idea is Revolutionary, Hence the name "Revolution" while making it. The actual objective of the console is to cater for a home gaming experience, it isnt about the power or the graphics. Its about bringing your mates together and playing games, fun games. I mean the N64 has the best multiplayer game ever on sales records and on personal opinions on over 12 surveys 12,000 people each worldwide, Goldeneye. There has been nothing to beat that as a multiplayer game since, EA have failed miserably at every attempt. Radical Design came close because it was the same team. Radical are on Wii's list thats good enough for me. But the name Wii is designed to incorporate a gimmick name that sounds short and catchy. Forget the meaning in english, Wii <- the two "i"'s are supposed to be two people meaning innovative thinking on Nintendo's part the "W" meaning world because unlike its competitors, if you looked at the website you would realise its already "Wi-Fi", "BB" and "Ethernet" compatible. Nintendo in Japan are even setting up free BB with the product for the few that dont have it. They want a console which is played all over the world, just like the DS. But a home version, its about fun. Not about how many people will buy it an how many companies can make games so you can see carnage on your screens in uber detail.
