Playstation Fans Perspective

I have been preaching to everyone that the XBOX 360 isn't much of an upgrade and about how it's nickname is XBOX 1.5 but hearing about the launch party and watching the G4 Special about it (later tonight) I'm starting to get caught up in the excitement. Of course my hardcore fanboyness wouldn't allow me to buy the 360 but still it's the first console out and it's pretty exciting to see the beginning of next-gen and everybodies reactions.

Don't buy into the hype and the artificial "shortages" aimed at creating demand for this crappy system (at least for now). I've personally tested this system at my local BestBuy and Futureshop stores and guess what? My computer can spit out better graphics than what the 360 can. Over the past few days ive seen tons of ads showing clips from multiple games and all I can say is BULL. I played Call to Duty 2 AND the pointless King Kong games and the graphics in both games have a lot to be desired.
My suggestion, wait for awhile until they actually develop games that can release the supposed power of the 360. Im sure the price will drop during christmas if you're so inclined into buying it.

"Fan bois" are outdated. Relics of the Genesis vs NES days. Now, you're either a hardcore gamer (who buys and plays everything) or a casual gamer. It's 2005 people! Gaming is officially mainstream and engrained into our culture. This system vs that system is dead. It's all about the killer app now. Whether that be your Halo's or your Mario Party. End of story.
