No solid game for the Playstation??
by May 18, 2005 12:19 PM PDT
What the heck are you talking about? The Playstation has one of the
best titles on the planet. Ever hear of this title called... hum.. Final
Fantasy? LOL

What's with the xbox that's so appealing? Isn't this the same
company that's famous for it's "Blue Screen of Death"?

Final Fantasy is not a exclusive series to the Playstation. Nintendo have a few FF games under their belt, and Microsoft are seemingly persuing Square-Enix about bringing it to Xbox 360.

Probably the show-stopping game for Playstation would be GTA: San Andreas, but it again is not exclusive. Halo, on the other hand, is.

I think that whoever wrote this article should have picked up on the MGS series though.

Wait I've heard of it. It has been on every console to date, and the new xbox is slated to have one for next generation.

Fanboys

You can be a console fanboy all you want (directed at fanboys in general) but until we've got playable games it doesnt matter... it's all speculation at this point.

Will the developers be able to program for the X360? Will they take advantage of the Cell chip? Will Nintendo make a strong 1stParty showing?(they seem to have abandoned 3rd party)
How will the pretty visuals handle? Will crappy cameras (I'm looking at you, gamecube) or shoddy controls ruin a console?

It's all about the games... you can play hardware w/o software.
