Mac OS gives this without extra hardware
by September 14, 2006 5:16 AM PDT
Its nice to see Vista will try to give PCs the same useful features as
Apple OS X, but why should it take a special keyboard or webcam
to see Widgets or voice and video chat. All these are standard
goodies built in to OS X and each new Apple system comes ready to
use them, funny that Microsoft has to make a new hardware
division and products just to get these conveniences into Windows.

iTroll shows his lack of any understanding
by aabcdefghij987654321 September 14, 2006 7:37 AM PDT
Yeas this another CNET article which is little more than MS advertising copy but we still get an iTroll responding with the usual "Mac OSX and Apple have this already" nonsense.

Perhaps the fool didn't seem to notice that the whole article was nothing more than a marketing blurb for new hardware? Of course this iTroll seems to imply that MS's new hardware is all matched by the hardware that comes standard with an Apple when the truth is that Apple users have been buying the MS keyboards and mice for years because they're quite superior to the standard Apple hardware.

This particular iTroll is so fast to jump and say "Apple had it already" that it appears he ddn't even read much of the story (such as it is).

He also fails to make the distinction that Apple makes complete comuter system, choosing what to put in them.

Microsoft doesn't make computers.

Dell, Gateway and others could build systems that have every feature a Mac has, though maybe not as cool.

Why attack MS when it's the PC makers who decide what to include in their boxes.

Bluetooth keyboard and mouse in the workplace?
by willdryden September 14, 2006 11:39 AM PDT
Thirty feet is a long way in an office. Does this mean I can do the same thing on 100 computers at the same time as long as they are not more than 30 feet away? Cool! The people next to me will love that.

Research Bluetooth first

Otherwise you'll make statements like you just did which tells me you don't know anything about Bluetooth.

Apples (<g>) vs Oranges

Definitely expensive, even when compared to the current MS hardware offerings most of which are priced quite reasonably.
