Why cant they surf the web? For $300 more they could put in a cheap arm processor, a power vr graphics chip (that can run 1080p) and a wifi card and still make about $150 extra off the deal.

I just bought two HD sets last year. Now if they could make adaptors for older sets.

More people who can access netflix may mean netflix will have more leverage to get lower costs per view of content due to the quantity of people who may end up viewing the content. Something like this can be great for all consumers using a netflix viewing appliance.
