it could also have been a sandisk. But agreed, you do not publish a story like this without telling us what brand it was, in case we ever go snowboarding in Switzerland we would need to know what one to take with us in the event that we are lost.

Agreed Dr_b_. Need to know which one. At least I have a good reason now to own an MP3 player. Previously, I couldn't think of a good reason that a middle-aged woman would actually NEED one. I might get lost and need it!
