slow train coming

Microsoft has shipped over 13m Xbox 360, a significant conversion opportunity for any service provider delivering Mediaroom and Xbox services. Despite that leverage opportunity, uniting code bases and technology between Mediaroom and Xbox is likely still a ways off.

"Internet Protocol Television (IPTV) features will only be available from the Xbox 360 through a service provider who has deployed Xbox 360 with Microsoft Mediaroom (IPTV) services" What kind of nonsense is this??? You mean to tell me that if you already have an Xbox 360 you will not be able to take advanatage of this feature because you did not receive the Xbox from your service provider? I honestly hope that is not the intension or this will be a complete failure.

You might be getting some false news about it. This may not be true.

the statement from Microsoft says that the IPTV features are only available from service providers. it doesn't say anything about your console needing to come from the service provider.
