Ipod's own this entire market. Microsoft is coming out with something they should have tried 7 years ago. The funny thing is their big announcement is all about "flash memory".... LOL..... Ipods have had this for years now.

...far better looking than the new iPods - much cooler colors, and as sleek as anything that's on the market.

The HALO buzz alone will create a tailwind for Zune with holiday season buyers: because the (correct) thinking is Zune will eventually become the untethered XBox platform.

I used both an ipod 80gb and a Zune. I sold the ipod after three months and stayed with the zune. The navigation is way much better than the ipod. It is well built, comes with FM radio. it has a beautiful translucide casing that does not scratch like the ipod. Yes, it is somewhat bigger. After 10 months with it, I do not regret switching. I am planning to get the new Zune 80gb which is even better. My belief is most people who are against the zune, have not even tried it....
