Affected model list not accurate

Just an FYI: According to HP's list many models are affected but not the dv1xxx series.

You probably looked at the old list. The new list with announce date April 20, 2006 has the model numbers given in the article.

problems with their batteries? It's from 2001!

It is quite pointless to buy an overpriced laptop battery from HP. I got a new laptop battery for my hp dv2000 laptop at http://www.batteryhippo.com , for half the price or less and with twice the capacity of my original battery.

I have a ze2606 laptop, and I guess I should send it to hp for recall.
