a little late to discover this, i wounder how any of you might feel if you had actually lost your hearing or experienced intense tinnitus? how about all the kids that got ipods and quickly through the "manual" away. are any of you parents or experiencing hearing loss yourself?. you may think twice about your comments/perspective if you had kids with tinnitus or hearing loss. an open mind and compassion keep people from sounding ignorant! ipod certainly did have an obligation to either distribute something less than 85 DCP or label the actual earphones with the warning, especially for the kids.??? did you RTM completely? do you think an eight year old would? there is a little more to it than so called "common sense".

Louisiana man is probably another welfare case

All these lawsuits are usually brought about by pathetic lawyers creating frivolous lawsuits for welfare case victims who are usually at the bottom tier of society. They have nothing to loose, so like leaching parasites, they hitch on for a free ride by draining the working class system anyway they can.

I agree with Unbelievable! If people want to listen to music that loud then it is their own fault. You have the power to turn it down, and you have the power to turn it up. So there for if you are losing your hearing don't be going around trying to "sue" people to get money for what you did to yourself. People these ages need to learn how to grow up and own up to there mistakes. Just turn down your ipods or whatever you are listening to it is as easy as that.
