Interesting by its Omission

interesting by its omission: hd-dvd and blu-ray. this could be a bad omen for both those technologies.

the article mentions the lead the porn industry has set for delivery of video content on the internet, but fails to mention they were also the driving force behind in-home video tapes and dvd's. for those who think this might be a minor blip on the continued drive to high def video delivery by one of those two formats: i think the porn industry i seeking a better way via the internet. a way that will be "good enough, soon enough". a way that will negatively impact both hd-dvd or blu-ray.

Bad omen for hd-dvd and blu-ray

Mark -
I want to thank you for pointing out that internet delivery of HD is happening now - no need to wait for the battle over physical media format to play out. Although there will always be those who like tactile interaction with their video content, we know that most will gravitate to this new way to access unlimited amounts of HD content due to its convenience and low cost.
