May HP is obeying the wishes of its master M$.

No one cares if HP is going to back HD-DVD, which is going the way Betamax is going.

Typical HP, Not enough guts or brains to make a choice. HP only cares about the money, HP is longer an inventer it is a customer, Carly sure gutted and castrated the whole company. Very sad.

actually HP and Microsoft want blue ray to include the more fair drm technology then blue ray.

wonder why all the media companies are jumping on the blue ray wagon?

answer: tighter and more controlling drm

Its really not a great thing which is cheapest really. Its more the fact which is going to be more reliable and better suited to everyday people cause at the end of the day its them who are going to buy it
