To counter Apple's hiring of Freddie whats-his-name, Microsoft
Chairman Bill Gates announced that Freddie Krueger will now be
the GM for the software giants Media Center group. Gates said
"our Freddie is much tougher and famous than Apple's Freddie."

Freddie Krueger is expected to slash a number of jobs in the Media
Center group.

IBM Hires Jason Vorhees

i.e Victor) came up with the concept of EyeTV/EyeHome etc. Not
Freddie.
