How is this not profitable?

TV shows are being repackaged into DVD sets for anywhere from $20 to $100 right now. $2 a show, with 22 eps, is $44 for a season. That's right in line with what many box sets are selling for at the likes of Best Buy (actually, half-hour comedies might see the biggest benefit, as it's actually an increase in revenue). There's no manufacturing costs, and Apple foots the costs for distribution for a small cut. I don't see why these companies feel the need, yet again, to be greedier than $2 a track - that's reasonable.
