The Nano is a lousy deal compared to the mini. It holds less songs. The previous accessories don't work. It really isn't that small either. It's not made for easy battery replacement. Five years from now 99% of the nano batteries will need replacement and that's going to be difficult and expensive. Ultimately, it will be interesting to see how many people are foolish and extravagant enough to spend $200 for a 2 gig ipod. I'll keep my 40gb iPod. I'll never buy the nano.

Until I can play my 40,000 song MP3 collection on an iPod I'll never own one. Why is it too much to ask for a portable media player that offers compatibility with MP3, WMA, WAV, RAR, QT, MPEG, and AVI? I didn't waste half of my life building a media collection only to buy evreything again through Apple. (Doesn't anyone remember that this is APPLE? Sorry folks, but APPLE will NEVER be cool. If you think it is, well, I feel for you.)
