Sharp's new 45" lcd tv

Will the new Sharp 45" LCD tv accept 1080p input and is this new backlighting that being advertised the same as the led lighting in the new Samsung and Sony Quali 005?

Yes. But only LC-45GX6U model. (This is the one with the separate AVC unit.)

I have my MacMini running at full screen and it is beautiful.
