:P

I wouldn't mind having one. I bet Halo looks like a dream on this puppy.

Not sure how I would feel taking out a home loan just to get one, though.

No price

This is awesome, but slightly smaller than 100+" plasma at CES. Still, it's a prototype and probably won't be available for a few years.

Personally, if I were building a home theater, I'd just get a nice CRT projector. If someone wants to watch television on that monster LCD, they must be swimming in money.

XScreensaver on it. Yes, with the move, roll and
stereoscopic options enabled. (-:
82 inches?
by March 8, 2005 9:37 AM PST
Is this photo for real? If that screen is 82 inches, then those women are around 6 foot 6. Also, why would Koreans marketing to Koreans measure anything in inches?

Yes, "inches"

For the same reason Korean Air will give you "miles" when you fly. It's the standard. But if you call the store and ask them how thick the LCD panel is, they will tell you so-and-so centimeters.
inches... and inches...

yep,

i'm on mexico, and we measure everything on metric system.

our roads are on Kilometers, and our tomatoes on Kilogramos... but our TVs are sold on inches...

that's weird, but true...

I wonder how you calculate your 6'6" estimate. If you take the
diagonal of the screen and rotate it to a vertical this is your 82"
base length. Moving the scale beside one of the women allows you
to position this length to an estimation of where the feet should be.
Take the ratio of the remaining length from the top of her head to
the overall length and multiply this by 82. You will find that the
women are about 15" shorter than the diagonal dimension (or
about 5'6")
82 @ 16:9 is 40.2" x 71.5"
