- Yes, and the OQO is almost 6 times as expensive as the 20G iPod. Of course there is more functionality.

- much higher rez, up to VGA

etc.
with currently memory cards with currently up to 12 GB (CompactFlash) or 2 to 3 GB (Secure Digital) that's more than enough for hi-rez digital images that can easily be zoomed in/out.
Even much better would be a real PC like the OQO Model 01 (www.oqo.com) that features desktop PC capabilities in a device the size of a PDA: 1 GHz x86 CPU, Windows XP (can run Linux), 256 MB RAM, a Wide-VGA touch screen, 20GB HDD, BT, Wi-Fi, USB, Firewire, a case made of LiquidMetal an alloy 2.5 times harder than Titanium!! freefall detection mechanism, an integrated Qwerty keyboard with trackstick and mouse buttons.
