- Why spend thousands on a display when in 9 months, the same will be half-price and outdated? Or, with content still at 10% (HD progs), only DVD movies and sports are the main content.

- I have one of those 32" Wegas sitting in my den. I need an L-Cart just to move it. But why would I replace my rear projection HDTV with a 2,000 buck EDTV? I mean, it looks neat on the wall, but the lower resolution looks like your looking through a window screen. I refuse to buy one of those TV's knowing that the profit margin is about 40% right now.

(3 Comments)Manufacturers like Samsung will have its 4th Gen of DLPs out soon and JVC shows that its dahlia sets are tops (so far) in hdtv picture quality for rear projection.
What I want to know is, who will be picking up my 260lb Sony Wega glass-behemoth now that tubes are passe? And Sony...your quality is sub-standard IMHO.
