Timely information

I was very ready to pull the trigger on my purchase of a 20GB Dell Pocket DJ. I'll hold onto my cash for a couple of weeks. I just wish they would put an FM tuner in these things.

DELL can out-price Apple....
by October 13, 2004 9:58 AM PDT
But that's it. Really, so far - though the Rio Carbon and new
player by Virgin seem promising - nobody can touch Apple's
knack for embuing their products with the intangibles..... I know
that sounds rather touchy-feely, but it's exactly true. I use OS X
Panther on a daily basis, and find myself still fawning over it's
attention to detail. It's like Apple is thinking of things ahead of
its users, providing features that users don't even know they
need - 'til they have to live without them that is. These
alternative players will all have to pass the hands-on test. So
far, none have struck me as anything other than cheap,
desperate attempts.

Michael Dell, doesn't it get cold & dark standing in Steve Job's
