TMobile makes it a toy

I really do like Blackberry products, but I'm sad to see that whatever this new device is, it's going to be a GSM TMobile focused product. It really relegates it to "toy" status. The sad truth is that in the US, the call and data quality of TMobile and AT&T is just not on par with that of the CDMA carriers (Verizon, Sprint). The phone selection on Verizon/Speint is abysmal, but in the end, I have to make a clear and trustworthy call.

Surprising

Since switching over to the BB 8700g, no one's complained about the call quality of my T-Mobile service. It was really suckie with my previous 7100t, however.

Finally catching up to the competition...

Great to see the company that once only focused on mobile email finally trying to catch up to the functionality that has been already available for years on most other cellphones. My only beef left with this device is that it does not include left and right softkeys to make running standard Java ME apps easier.
