Couric is an unmitigated Partisan, same as Rather
by technewsjunkie August 17, 2006 10:21 AM PDT
For pop culture she's great.

News? No way.

Now we'll see her "in depth" interviews - with the latest _celebrity_.

Good to see the technology being used. Too bad the content is
going to be so awful.

Newshour Is The Only One Worth Watching
by maxwis August 17, 2006 5:49 PM PDT
Newshour will spend 10-15 minutes in depth covering a story. Couric spends 15 minutes deciding what shade of pearls to wear, and 2 minutes on a news story. Her idea of important news is "What's The Latest In Barbeque Grilling".

Also, don't you think it's odd that one of the countries that has the biggest impact on our society -- Mexico, gets almost no news coverage? Thanks to Couric and the other pretty boy anchors, we know more about what the latest fashion trend is for this Fall than what is going on in Mexico. We should have at least 5 minutes of news coverage of Mexico EVERY DAY.
