google uses "researchers"
by acarlos1000 December 8, 2005 3:05 AM PST
I think that in Google Answers not everyone can answers the questions only specialists. And the answers are not free. Check it out the description at Google Answers:
" More than 500 carefully screened Researchers are ready to answer your question for as little as $2.50 -- usually within 24 hours. Your satisfaction is completely guaranteed."

This has absolutly nothing to do with Google Answers. GA sucks. Yahoo was able to make this a social tool, you know, what google failed to do with blogger...

Everytime u email Yahoo support you get the response "We could not replicate that problem from our end" and that's all you get from them.

expertbee.com is aweful

I just used expertbee and really didn't learn anything. The supplied answer was trite, useless and contained inaccuracies. Expertbee is more about answering pointless questions rather than helping anyone do anything.
EXPERTBEE.COM IS A SCAM
by steffpenn December 28, 2005 4:24 PM PST
Scam Alert:

ExpertBee is collecting PayPal payments and not delivering promised services. Such conflicts cannot be disputed by the buyer because PayPal's usage policy prohibits disputes with transactions involving the purchase of intangible goods.
scammed by expertbee
by timothygershaw January 3, 2006 1:36 AM PST
Unfortunately I was scammed by expertbee before I read any of the warnings. I can't believe their website is still online.

I called my local police dept today and made a report.

How can we try to prevent other people from getting scammed?
I think ExpertBee does a great job too!!
by TDelaneus January 6, 2006 12:24 PM PST
I have used ExpertBee.com myself, several times. I have gotten great responses from qualified people. I am very happy with it.

I think the key is to pick the highly rated experts. In any case, I think the scam would be the people answering your questions, not the website.
expertbee is great!

I don't agree with these comments. I've had a great experience with expertbee.com. My question was rapidly answered. Just my opinion.
