Was SCO's Web Server Really Affected?
by June 15, 2004 3:22 PM PDT
Did SCO's web server/s take the hit that they claim it/they took in their press releases? Some people have suggested that when it comes to some issues, SCO may have a bit of a credibility problem... There have been some interesting court documents filed in connection to the many SCO lawsuits of late. You can read all about them (and the documents themselves) at Groklaw.net

web attack

Could not connect to internet during specified time. Received error message each time I made attempt " missing certain files, don`t remember which ones." Used system restore to 06/14/04 and was immediately able to access internet.
I am not very computer literate and am uncertain if there is any relevency.

yahoos chat ban
by June 15, 2004 6:46 PM PDT
as a helper in the yahoo chat help rooms we are required to post many links during the course of a day in order to help ppl with issues that yahoo itsef doesnt or cant ...and as a reward for our diligence and hard work we are rewarded with our names being banned from the internet.yahoo needs to address this issue and figure out a way to rectify the problem i lose an average of 6 names a day i have at least 20 that have yet to be returned to me .even though yahoo sends me e-mails saying they are working on it it has been months for a 36 hour chat ban to release my names back to me .now im not alone in this problem we figure (the other helpers)that on average we lose a combined total of over 100 names a day compund this by 5 days a week ..u do the math .id really like to see this problemn brought to and end.im tired of telling ppl its a yahoo glitch!..thank you
