Comments on: AT&T mistakenly announces free Wi-Fi for iPhone users...again

Someone on AT&T's product marketing team must be trigger happy as the company once again mistakenly publishes a notice about free Wi-Fi access for iPhone users.

Well I hope TMO doesnt take away Wi-fi from my BB Curve. Or my ability to MMS. Or my 5-day battery life. Or my replaceably battery. Or my true push email. Or my copy/paste.

And I didnt have to wait 8 hours in line and 24-48 hours to be activated. Gee - now I want an iBrick.

As a former AT&T Mobility employee, my best guess is that the web content folks got the okay to develop this and update the web based on the initial proposal and the great communications that goes on within the beast never got back to the web content team.

But you know what, AT&T doesn't care. They have you nailed already for two years. The average pay your bill on time loyal customer is the one who gets jobbed with this company. Whitacre (before he left) even told his director level and above meeting a year ago that AT&T has terrible customer service and we need to improve. GO FIGURE. Oh yeah, and they dont treat the c-level directors and below employees much better either, so dont go and feel special.
