Kids in Danger on MySpace

You bring up a good point about the age verification on MySpace. The biggest issue with the site has been the inability to verify true ages of its members. Is that person chatting with your child really a kid in Kansas or a child molester in Virginia?

MySpace Morphing into a Monster
by marileev July 12, 2006 2:16 PM PDT
The place for online social networking and creating new connections online is beginning to morph into a monster of a marketing bohemoth since Murdoch's acquisition. Not only is it causing dangers for kids, a headache for parents http://www.techknowbizzle.com/2006/07/myspace-social-network-or-social.html MySpace is also revealing more information to strangers than one man think.

Not every factiod should be public http://www.essentialsecurity.com/Documents/article1.htm MySpace topping the list of hot sites is a bit disturbing.
