Sprint customer service may suck, I agree - especially in their stores- but in my experience with both verizon and at&t, they suck even MORE.

Why in the world would a cell phone maker make a phone with a physical keyboard? It's like going back in time. It's like, hey here is a new phone but we made something that is awkward and silly. Seems weird.

Except to the millions and millions of people who prefer a physical keyboard to a touch screen. You know the other 90% of the smartphone market.

Next time you get a chance to ask hard hitting questions, try asking Dan why Sprint is forcing families to purchase data for ALL lines in order to activate the Pre. The individual everything plans are indeed *very* well priced. But by forcing data on 4 lines when it is only need on one, the Pre user on a family plan is essentially paying $50/month just for data. That's not such a good deal.

Fetch - I usually don't give a sh*t about Sprint bashing...it's the norm; however, that company is always way ahead of others in Emergency situations. You poor thing..your Treo needed another battery but, in a hurricane, you wanted a FREE battery. You could have picked up a $10 car charger at Walmart and helped some other people out of that situation perhaps. Hopefully you aren't such a ****** and made that story up...if not...I'm guessing that Sprint was busy working on Emergency communications as explained in this video http://gustav08.ning.com/video/2294159:Video:3717

Sprint really made a bold move this time and lock out verizon's access of Palm Pre and (Pixie). Palm pre is a cool device that's goign to take a pie in the smartphone market. Here are some good info about palm pre:

You most certainly do not need to buy data for the whole family.... I have my BB Curve simply everything on one plan and broke my wife's, fathers and mother's phones onto their own family share plan.

The misinformation of all the iPhone stalkers is tough to overcome.

Uh - yeah. But that's even more expensive. Way more expensive.

The only reason Sprints network and service has improved is because they have over 2 million less customers to deal with. Wait till one of the other carriers offers the Pre, sooner than you think. All CEO's of Sprint speak with forked tongue. Put that in an elevator speech, Danny boy. I'm still holding my breath for Xohm. Ma and Pa Kettle get there ass kicked on Wall Street.

Been with Sprint for over 7yrs now. No problems with service no matter where I have been in the country. Never have called for customer service. I use their email customer service and have been totally satisfied with how they handled my problems which has only been twice over the years. As for Sprint supposedly stiffing our service members I can only say that my son has been to Aghanistan and Iraq twice and all three times all he had to do was put his account on hold and pay 5$ to keep his phone number active until he returned. He has been a Sprint customer for 6yrs now. He isnt going to switch either. Almost all my family is on Sprint as well. So all who are sounding the death nell to Sprint I say nonsense.

I have been with sprint for over 7 years and the first years where really bad, always having to call customer service and ask about wrongful charges and ******** contract extensions, but now it is a lot better and the customer service is almost there. I wish the gave more incentives like free ringtones every once in a while, like they used to but it is the only company I would be with thus far. I own the palm pre and its the coolest, easiest to use phone Ive ever seen.

All PALM has to do is change the name. And add one or two features for the Verizon version and voila Sprint would be out of luck.
