I have wanted an Iphone for awhile now but the ONLY reason I don't have one is because I am a power user and I don't want to play ATT high fees. I have a G1 on T-mobile I have 2k minutes per month shared with my daughter and we both have a data plan with unlimited data & text. Our combined bill is about 200 per month. We both have 5 favorites that we can call to any number on any carrier, unlimited calls to other T-mobile customers & free nights and weekends. It is not unusual for me to finish out a month with just under 3k total minutes for the month for me alone. A ATT plan with 950 minutes, Iphone data plan & unlimited text alone just for me is over 120.00 month with no taxes. T-mobile unlimited data & text 35 dollars, ATT $50.00 for the same thing. They need to get that cost disparity resolved and stop price gouging customers. The tiny bits of data we call texts are gold mines for cell companies and they should be ashamed for charging such high fees for them. I want my Iphone but I will wait on my "cupcake" update for my G-1 and Apple/ATT to get their prices down to earth from outer space.

i'm not an AT&T fan, but i've been using AT&T -- i have some issues with it, but i have and will stick with it for now... that being said... i love Apple products, but i don't like the iPhone -- it sucks right now. i'll probably get iphone version 5.0. i was drooling when i heard about the iPhone in 2007 -- but have been disappointed since. there are just so many other phones that can do so much more. the iPhone just looks cool. it does have the best touch screen - but that's it. i don't have an iPhone. but i have Apple iPod Classic, Apple iPod Touch, Apple MacBook Pro -- so don't bash me for thinking that iPhone sucks right now -- because compared to other mobiles phones out there -- it does suck. i sure hope Apple iPhone 5.0 won't disappoint me.

Oh and one after thought...iPhone "is" working with MS Exchang now... - and if they had to wait to offer that it is because MicroSoft guards their API like it is GODs golden chalice. The iPhone programmers need the API to develop the MS Exchange app for the iPhone...

Would I ever use a Winblows smartphone? Never again! It works exactly like ordinary Winblows...buggy, slow, crippled...
