That a Windows Mobile phone may emerge running on an Nvidia chip is something that Nvidia has been saying since very early on.

Wow. I suppose everyone's entitled to an opinion. For my money, I prefer Windows Mobile to iPhone's OS. It has plenty of problems, but also has many advantages. In either case, by the time products with this chipset hit the market (2010?) WinMo is going to be on version 7. I'd say let's not worry too much about non-existent software and non-existent devices. I just can't wait for OEMs to do something with this chipset.

Oh, and in my humble opinion, Apple got it right for a segment of the userbase. They also crippled the device through so many limitations and bugs that rival Microsoft's releases. I think that if something like HTC Touch HD was offered in the US and had a decent marketing campaign behind it, iPhone would not have the market share it has today. To each his own, I suppose.
