- The study may be flawed/ inaccurate because it measures the failure rate of these devices based on return to carrier or vendor. There is a high percentage (claims between 10-70% from various sources) of jail broken iPhone which are not eligible for a RMA as the users void warranty when they jail break the device.

Showing 4 of 4 pages (97 Comments)On the other hand there is nothing called Jail breaking the Blackberry device and the device warranty is always honored unless there is water or physical damage.
On the other hand one may argue that Apple has the better odds to have a more stable iPhone since it only has one form factor vs. 10 different form factors with Blackberry devices.
PS - This is only based on the experience of my friends who have JB iPhones (please comment if this may not be the case)
