Apple has apparently included a blacklisting mechanism in the newest iPhone software, through which it can check for unauthororized applications and disable them.

This is like Sony protecting their precious songs with a rootkit to prevent the CD they sold me from being played in my computer. THEY thought it was a great idea to reach into MY computer to do what THEY want? Where does Apple get off? How is this different from any sftwarevendor time bombing their software?
