Just what we need...

A sign of things to come? Pretty soon everybody with a political bone in their body will be chiming in, and we'll be one step closer to a Washington-style strangling of the Internet and technological innovation - all at a time when MORE flexibility and innovation, not LESS, is crucial to move this country forward in the global economy.

Exactly! What we need right now is LESS regulation and more innovation--two things that are at cross-purposes, imho.

Honestly, I don't understand how there is still anything to debate on this issue. There is no problem, thus there should be no regulation. It's simple really.

Maybe I don't get the big picture...

Currently as a home user thereare different speed tiers to choose from - all at a price. As a content provider I usually am presented with pricing based on traffic and or speed. How is what's being suggested any different than whatwe already have? Mind you I'm not saying "if it's no different then it's fine", I'm just wondering what I'm missing, whatI'm not getting...?
