Need universal phone with router
by tapaskm March 16, 2006 1:29 PM PST
What we need is a phone with built in router that we can use for this windows live as well as use it with any other voip service. Currently if we were to switch from one voip provider to another, we will need to get a new router. When it will be like a regular telephone, plug it to the wall and we have a dial tone, does not matter who the provider is.

Vonage and Satellite VoIP
by sisednys March 16, 2006 6:17 PM PST
The problem is that the 6040 has been out for two years ... and is not usable in the US.

The <a href="http://www.highspeedsat.com/dw7040.htm>7740 is just coming out... http://www.highspeedsat.com/dw7040.htm
Is it usable in North America? Vonage is messed up on Direcway ... in the US.
