I respect the "pay for usage" ideal... but for Internet connections today, this is a disaster.

Why should I pay extra every month to account for all the SPAM that shows up in my inbox? Even if I don't surf the web once, I'll have many many megabytes of SPAM that I have to PAY for. Bad plan.

Even though you would be paying for a certain speed limit, your also paying for how much data you use. this doesn't help anyone and just makes more money for the coporations.

This is just another crappy idea that will do nothing but make the greedy more money and screw the consumer.

But, then if the consumers aren't bright enough to fight back and stop this then they get what they deserve.

The minute this is tried in the US I will go back to dial-up. DSL speed is not all that important to me.
