Can you please help me... my ex was using my cell phone as a tracking/stalking device.. constantly knowing my every move... I threw it in a pool, and temporarily bought a prepaid cell under a made up name and address... how do I prevent him from doing this again, so that I can go back to a regular cell... he has my ss#, and can track my jobs, credit requests etc... any suggestions.. ? Thanks..

If people use their phones to call any body the callers phone number should be made available to the person being called to prevent annoyance calls. I've been receiving annoyance calls from one Maria Competiello for the last 30 years on the landline phones. Previously Verizon said it could not do any thing. Now it can trace the calls unless the caller stops the verizon from tracing the calls. This is nonesense. I can stop this Maria Competiello from calling. Her number is listed at 718-232-4302. But lately she has been calling from 718-IWALIFY/

A few years ago she advertised this number on Village Voice Bulletin Board.

So let the privacy issue not make winners out of women like Maria Competiello.

I've not even listed in the phone book under my own name. But this Maria Competiello has a brother working in telephone Company. the telephone Company has admitted that there's a person (with a name phonetically similar but not exact spelling working at the telephone company but I'll have to sue the company to stop the Competiello). But I can't afford the attorney fees.

'The CIA and other media-exposures' are worthwhile reading; especially the one about the CIA. You find this chapter in the menu (on the left) of http://soekershof.com
