n a way, it would be good that google and all of the other mails offered a service for whatever problem that the costumer has. Because after all, even if you're not paying to them, if they offer their service then they should do a good service and not just let you have these kinds of problems without any solution. At the same time, if you know you are signing in a free webmail then you should take your precautions like having another e-mail ... If you know that you are not paying to this webmails, then you must be concerned that problems might happen and that you will not always have the service you expect to have. Another precaution; be always careful with the information you manage in your webmails! Technology sometimes does betray us.

There are some points that we consider are important to notice:
-You must have a backup of the important information in other mail accounts or in your computer's memory.
-Mail services are free and companies will not invest in somethign that will not give them profit and it is a good reason.
-Anyone who has your account's name can cause the server to block the acces to your account intentionally
-If a company or anybody offers a service, it should be good and complete for the own principles.
-Mail account would be more secure if they asked more information about the user.

Well, as we know, is very important to have a program or somebody who can help you, but it's better to have a human answering questions and solving technical problems. It's wrong that google doesn't have a correct helper which can only solve pre-programmed questions. ñ_ñ

We think google has a really bad customer service and a very good security service and its dumb not allowing someone into their mail accounts with no apparent reason.

I thing Google should be more efficient with its security measures, but anuway, people can not be very demanding either. Google accounts are for free, so you can not expect a great service from something ehich is for free. If people will be really that afffected if they can not open their mail because it is blocked, they should create another backup account, so they are not limited. I think that asking for telephone help is a little stupid, because it would be too expensive for Google, and I am sure they will not spend that money in something which will not help them in a significant way. For the moment, we must take our measures for preventing cases like the one form Mr. Lynch.

People shouldnt trust Google because they are giving a free service which means they wont care if you stop using it. With all the fame and reputation that google has, it doesnt have to worry too much since this problem is not common.

As a team we conclude that eventhoug internet is a cyberspace and there are not like fisical officines were you can go and solve your problems as costumer, is a good idea to have a "company that helps you with the problems that can come out with e-mail accounts for example. goole, hotmail yahoo are the most important e-mail servers and some times you can have problems accesing your account so this resource could be helpful!"

This comment is from all my team:

We think after reading this article that it is very interesting.
We understood that there are causes which told us that we cannot open our mailbox: when we have this problem there is no solution but be patient.
But the thing that we can do is have a copy from all the most important files on your mail in order for them to be safe.
We have learned a lot from this article and we like it very much.
Thanks for your attention!

Well, in my opinion, its kinda annoying to know that your account is closed for undefined terms that leave you guessing what the heck was happening in those moments you were typing (or trying to type) your personal information in your webmail. Sometimes we have to take into consideration the things and issues that might happen with our accounts in this kind of services. We do not know really if one day we will be victims of the mail system issues, or if somebody will hack our account without us taking care of. Technology fails, i know. But there are kind of silly issues that webmail programmers must repair and take in count... If they do not want to see angry customers blaming them for problems with their stuff.

I think first of all the people shouldn't try to log in an account that isn't theirs but Google has blame as well because they are asking for money for a service the mail should include and the matter here is that if you don't pay you don't get any help or they just "try" to help, i don't think that is fair.

I think they are trying to evade responsibilities by justifying themselves with: "we ask few personal information", "it wouldn't work one-to-one support" and all that stuff to leave Gmail like it's now because if they wanted to they could get that problem fixed.

It is a big problem, because when paying for a service the support must be included, and that is what google does not give. Due to this, the customers will stop using Gmail, although it has a great capacity it does not satisfy all the necessities.

It is true that the ones who use the advertising-supported version must deal with the problem and accept the self-service online support, but for those who payed the support must be obligatory.

As conclussion, G-mail is a great company that offers excellent products, but it could not be taken as seriously as the otters labels because they would not give helpful support. So, every G-mail customer must have a secondary account or do not use G-mail as their primary account.

well... we think that the gmail account it's not so bad, it has it advantages and all that stuff.
It's very subjective to say that the gmail it completely usseless. You have to think also about the content it has lots of important feautres, well it is not as effective as the yahoo! and hotmail accounts.
but even after it has disadvantages it is not verry important the thing about getting locked out randomly affects the users, it is not a constant issue.

I think there is no problem with Google... ok there are some users that are getting locked out of their accounts, but there isn´t necessary such thing as a 24/7 phone number for customer´s problems, there should be just a good online support system.

But I totally agree with the guy that wrote down here, "jeremyblaze". If you need so much your Gmail account (or any other service) for your work and business... then buy a premium membership. There you´ll have all the support you need.

In my opinion Google does a good work, giving us good quality services completely free, so why is people unhappy with something that is like... a gift.

Well, that´s my personal opinion.

I think Google shoud pay more attention to its users, I thought that they were a good company, but they don't seem very good now. Also there another mail accounts, so if you have a gmail account, you should have another account with Yahoo or Hotmail, or a company which has a personal customer service.

Every company should give support to the users they have under their "domain", or (perhaps) a link that should provide enough information to help them when having this kind of problem. Also a good option is to take in consideration having at least one different account in order to make sure that information and contacts won't be lost. Why not? Almost all (google, hotmail, yahoo, etc) have free accounts, but be careful of what services you are asking for and if in the future someone will help you when facing difficulties.

Any problem related to the logging to your personal mail and info is of extreme importance for the user. If you would be in the case of cannot login in you expect your mail company (which by the way you chose from a wide variety of free ones because you thought it would be the best) has an efficient way to solve customers problems.
Google as a leading company supported by adds must have an efficient service that allows the user to be satisfied by the service. The money issue is not a problem for this company so that's not an excuse.

I think that if you want to keep your mail users you must give them a better treat, so they stay with you, because, as fer said, you can also make another account with yahoo or hotmail y you want to. So the people from google should offer a better attention to their users. And they should, also, give a phone number where you can receive help.

Even though all the problems google argues about for not implementing the phone assistant service; if another important company has applied it succesfuly they should. By doing so they would get their costumers confidence in them and by that winning more costumers. If google doesn't do anything to imprive their service and continue with the service they have been providing, they will start losing costumers and winning problems.
