Cisco starting their own social networking site? What a freaking hoot. I would imagine that everyone will be required to give John Chambers a foot massage and pray at the end-to-end self-defending network alter before being given access...of course, using Cisco's access control products. It will be free at first, but all members will soon be informed that a complete "fork-lift" membership is required and that they'll have to sign over their PCs, homes and 1st born and commmit to buying everything Cisco sells. Welcome to Cisco's Second Life, real-life edition. Hahahahaha

Joke. Niche social networking sites like Askothers are taking over

Cisco can do this, but niche sites (hotornot, askothers,
stumbleupon) are where this industry is going. Especially askothers
which is a video site for aspiring entertainers.

Though I really admire Cisco as the company, its leadership, its management, and its strong desire to get into social networking...Cisco trying to get into social networking sounds like Chevron developing a fuel guzzler car so that it could sell more gas.
